The Bizarre Art of Robert Steven Connett
Born in San Francisco, California in the year 1951. No formal art training. Left school in 10th grade. Began drawing and painting at the age of 27. Continued to create artwork as an avocation for 20 years. During that time owned and operated an insurance brokerage firm in San Francisco. Sold the firm in 1998 at age 47 after home and art collection was destroyed by fire. Moved to Los Angeles Calif. Began full time art career in 2003 at age 52. Currently working as an artist in Los Angeles.
